Privacy, comfort and beautiful lake views are at the heart of every stay at Makuzi Beach Lodge. Choose from our four Standard Chalets, Cacao, Mango, Litchi, and Tamarind. Our two Superior Chalets, Coconut and Otter’s Point, the spacious Family Cottage, Cinnamon Cottage for self-catering stays, or our peaceful lakeside campsite. All accommodation is mosquito-screened and equipped with four-poster mosquito nets, fans, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
SUPERIOR CHALETS
(Coconut & Otter's Point)
Coconut and Otter’s Point offer extra privacy and some of Makuzi’s most spectacular lake views. Set among indigenous trees and natural rock formations, these spacious chalets feature en-suite bathrooms, a minibar fridge, and secluded verandas overlooking Lake Malawi. Sleeps a maximum of two guests.
STANDARD CHALETS
These four chalets are en-suite and set in the gardens overlooking the beach. Sleeps 2 with option for an extra bed or bunk bed.
THE FAMILY COTTAGE
Ideal for families or small groups, the Family Cottage features two separate en-suite bedrooms connected by a comfortable central lounge area with a fridge. One bedroom has a double bed, while the second room has three single beds with space for an additional bunk bed if required. Sleeps up to six guests.
THE CAMPSITE
The campsite has beautiful shade and on green lawns with views over the lake. We only have 3 camping spaces with a maximum of 12 people at one time.
